Micro Magazine Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that the latest series, the second season of the TV anime 'Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs' (GC Novels), will begin broadcasting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

It will be broadcast on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and BS Nippon Television. Furthermore, terrestrial先行 and fastest distribution on ABEMA and d Anime Store has also been decided.

Additionally, the second key visual, newly drawn by character designer Masahiko Suzuki, has been released. It depicts the protagonist Leon, who attends the academy of the Kingdom of Holfort, along with Olivia, Angelica, and Marie. It also includes Hertrude, the princess of the Duchy of Fanoss who tormented Leon and his friends during the school trip attack in Season 1, and the Black Knight Vandel, as well as a new character, Hertrude's younger sister and fellow princess, Hertrauda.

Leon, a former office worker, is reincarnated into a world of swords and magic from an 'otome game'.

In this world of extreme female superiority and male inferiority, the only weapon left to him is the 'knowledge' of this game, which his sister forced him to play in his previous life. He tries to survive this unreasonable world by using that knowledge.
