MIKROE Develops Spatial Anchors 'R1' and 'S1' for Apple Vision Pro

MIKROE (headquarters: Belgrade, Serbia), a provider of embedded solutions, has announced two spatial accessory tracking modules. By attaching these products to objects such as simulation rigs and industrial equipment, they can be used as high-precision 6-DoF motion detection accessories for Apple Vision Pro. Both models share a common platform but differ in form factor and use cases.

The Spatial Anchor S1 is an ultra-compact square tracker with four infrared LEDs, suitable for tight mounting spaces. The Spatial Anchor R1 is a larger rectangular enterprise-grade unit with eight infrared LEDs, offering excellent visibility for easy recognition from any direction.

The Spatial Anchor S1 and R1 feature a USB-C interface for charging, configuration, and firmware updates; a power button; a reset button; a BLE pairing button; and a four-color status LED (green, yellow, red, blue) for at-a-glance device status. The power system includes a built-in charging circuit and a 3.7V 250mAh lithium-polymer battery with remaining capacity monitoring.
