Thank you very much to everyone who participated and cooperated! We look forward to your continued support next year. Deep tech startup Milk. Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Hiromi Nakaya), together with Taiwan's next-generation healthcare company 'CancerFree Biotech', co-hosted the international pitch event '4th G-1 Startup Grand Prix' in Taiwan on Friday, March 20, 2026. This event is a global pitch contest where next-generation student entrepreneurs broadcast their business ideas and solutions to social issues to the world. Following last year, it was held in Taiwan, and student entrepreneurs from Japan and Taiwan delivered passionate pitches. On the day of the event, 13 groups of finalists from Japan and Taiwan who passed strict document screening took the stage. Watched by many attendees including local startup support organizations, investors, corporate representatives, and students, future-oriented proposals born from technologies challenging social issues and unique perspectives of the next generation were showcased one after another. Every time a presentation was made, a big round of applause erupted, and the venue was wrapped in enthusiasm from beginning to end. This event also generated a huge response locally and was introduced in 'Economic Daily News', the business newspaper with the largest circulation in Taiwan. The article detailed the challenges taken on by Gen Z startups from Japan and Taiwan, the expansion of the international startup ecosystem connecting Tokyo and Taipei, and the support system in collaboration with industry, government, academia, and investors. Milk. Inc. aims to create innovation by generating new perspectives and collaborations starting from cross-border exchanges. Moving forward, through entrepreneurship support such as this event, we will continue to work on creating startups that bring positive changes to society. 💡
