The Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum in Tokyo will host the exhibition 'Artists Gathering at the Cafe: From Impressionism to Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Picasso' from June 13 to September 23, 2026. To mark the event, the museum is selling special ticket packages that include a 10-page booklet containing translated recipes from painter Toulouse-Lautrec's post-humous culinary book 'La Cuisine de Monsieur Momo' published in 1930. The booklet features 8 selected recipes illustrated with Toulouse-Lautrec's artwork, a reproduction of the 'Sylvanus Menu Card', and a list of his favorite condiments. Pre-sale tickets with the booklet cost 2,600 yen (available through June 12), while regular ticket packages cost 2,800 yen (available from June 13 to September 22). Tickets must be purchased online, and the booklet can be collected at the museum's ticket window on the day of the visit. The exhibition is co-organized with the Hiroshima Museum of Art, exploring the late 19th-century cafe culture in Paris and Barcelona that inspired artists like Picasso.
