Mipox Corporation (Headquarters: Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture; President: Jun Watanabe; Securities Code: 5381; hereinafter 'Mipox'), which polishes innovation, has had its IH (Induction Heating) equipment certified as high-performance equipment by the Sustainable Open Innovation Initiative (SII), based on the evaluation criteria of the 'Technical Evaluation Committee for Advanced Energy-Saving Technologies' established by the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. As a result, customers who introduce this equipment can receive partial cost subsidies.
Overview of the Subsidy This equipment is designed to realize the transition from fossil fuels to electricity in heat treatment processes and pre/post-painting preheating and drying processes. By doing so, we propose environmentally friendly manufacturing processes that achieve energy savings, space savings, and decarbonization.

IH Coil Design and CAE Analysis Since the ease of electromagnetic wave transmission (temperature) changes depending on the distance between the metal part and the coil, there is a quality issue where thin objects may overheat if thick objects are heated on the same line in a short time. To solve such issues, we design flexible coils (Patent No. 2022-021618) that can heat efficiently according to the target object and conduct CAE analysis. We will continue to contribute to the transition to a sustainable industrial structure and our customers' decarbonization management through the spread of innovative solutions.
About Mipox Corporation Mipox Corporation was founded in 1925 as a subsidiary of a German trading company. Starting with the import and sale of foils and pigments, we established three core technologies—'coating, cutting, and polishing'—sequentially from the 1970s, developing as a precision abrasive manufacturer. Currently, we are expanding our solution business, including precision polishing and functional coating, beyond the development, manufacturing, and sales of abrasives. We respond to the needs of a wide range of industries, from high-tech fields such as semiconductors, hard disks, and optical fibers, to woodworking, furniture, automotive, painting, and metal processing. As a '100-year venture' that polishes innovation, we continue to challenge and evolve.
