MiYO ORGANIC's Ethical Hotel Amenities Introduced at The Westin Rusutsu Resort

MiYO ORGANIC Co., Ltd. (Location: Nagoya, Aichi; CEO: Miyo Yamamoto) has begun introducing hotel amenities aimed at reducing plastic usage at The Westin Rusutsu Resort (Location: Rusutsu, Hokkaido; General Manager: Hideki Tsuda). The transition began in November 2025, and all guest rooms are scheduled to be equipped with these amenities by June 25, 2026. The amenities include bamboo toothbrushes made from recycled plastic, bamboo hair combs, and cotton swabs with paper handles, with packaging made from FSC-certified paper. MiYO ORGANIC emphasizes the balance between environmental consideration and comfort, winning the Good Design Award in 2022. To date, the company has sold over 2.5 million units and reduced plastic usage by over 25 tons. The company also obtained B Corp certification in 2025.
