Miroku Jyoho Service (MJS), a developer of financial and accounting systems, announced the successful completion of a pilot test aimed at automating payment and reconciliation processes. The test, conducted by the Invoice Chain Subcommittee of the Digital Currency Forum, utilized Ryutsu BMS (a standard EDI protocol) and DCJPY, a tokenized deposit linked to the Japanese yen. Nine companies, including Tsuruha Holdings, Aeon Smart Technology, Ikeda Senshu Bank, Kao Group Customer Marketing, Cyberlinks, and DeCurret DCP, participated in the project. The experiment successfully demonstrated a one-stop process from order placement to payment and reconciliation, confirming the potential for significant labor savings in accounting departments. The subcommittee plans to continue discussions to move toward full-scale social implementation and the ultimate goal of fully automated financial operations.
