Monex, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and Executive Officer: Yuko Seimei; hereinafter "Monex Securities") announced that it has concluded a consignment agreement for financial product brokerage services with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Life Partners Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroshi Horiike; hereinafter "Life Partners"), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Gakutomo Yoneyama).

Background In the "era of 100-year life," customers' needs for life planning and asset management have become diverse and complex. Particularly, affluent customers are seeking solutions to a wide range of issues, not limited to managing financial assets, but also including the intergenerational transfer of entire assets, encompassing businesses and real estate. Since FY2020, Monex Securities has been promoting an asset management model that "commits to increasing customers' assets." Under this policy, we established the PB (Private Banking) Division and, from October 2021, fully entered the face-to-face sales wealth management service, providing highly specialized services. Now, Life Partners, which specializes in face-to-face consulting, will begin offering services as a contracted IFA (Independent Financial Advisor) corporation, utilizing Monex Securities' diverse product lineup and convenient platform. This initiative aims to provide optimal solutions tailored to the individual needs of each customer by integrating the strengths of both companies, and to offer further value as a "best partner" to customers.

Overview Life Partners will commence financial product brokerage services as a contracted IFA corporation of Monex Securities. The features of the services are as follows: - Diverse Product Lineup Provision of a wide range of financial products handled by Monex Securities, including domestic and international stocks, bonds, and investment trusts. - End-to-End Support System By combining the specialized knowledge unique to a trust bank group and Monex Securities' platform, comprehensive support will be provided, from asset management to asset inheritance. - Convenient Services Leveraging the strengths of Monex Securities, an online-focused securities company, to provide a smooth and efficient trading environment.
