Naoki Sugimoto, a meat craftsman operating the homemade bacon and sausage specialty store "Monji" in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, has developed the "Beautiful Body Muscle Sausage," the first in Japan (※self-researched) that brings out the original flavor of meat while being high in protein and low in fat.

◆ Background of Development: "Can we make stoic meals easier and more delicious?"

The inspiration for product development came from observing acquaintances who were working hard on building muscle. Seeing them boil and eat plain chicken breast and broccoli every day, I thought, "It must be troublesome to prepare this every day, and more importantly, it's bland as a meal. If it were in the form of a sausage, people could get nutrition more easily and deliciously," which is how it all began.

Although I immediately researched the market, surprisingly, I couldn't find any authentic sausage products that combined "deliciousness" and "bodybuilding."

Therefore, I decided to pour my skills and know-how as a craftsman, who has won awards at international meat processing contests in Germany, into developing the ideal product myself, starting development in 2019.
