MoveEz Inc., a Japanese startup specializing in autonomous robot taxis, secured second place in the ICT/Software category at the SelectUSA Investment Summit hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Based on 28 years of research at Kanazawa University, MoveEz's technology utilizes sensor fusion combining imaging radar and LiDAR to navigate harsh conditions such as snow and rain without heavy reliance on HD maps.
