MTI Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshihiro Maeta; hereinafter "the Company") will sign a "Partnership Agreement on Women's Health Management Support" with Ishikawa Prefecture (Governor: Yukiyoshi Yamano) on July 6 (Mon) to provide support for women's health management in Ishikawa Prefecture.

Through this agreement, the Company will begin offering free access to the "Premium Course," a paid feature of "Lunaluna," its women's healthcare service that supports women throughout their lives, to residents of Ishikawa Prefecture starting July 6 (Mon). "Lunaluna" provides various information, including daily health management and basic knowledge about fertility and infertility treatment, allowing users to receive health information tailored to their life stages.

Furthermore, through this initiative, a verification study will be conducted to assess whether the app and information provided by "Lunaluna" can contribute to fertility efforts within households.

1. Background of the Partnership Agreement

Ishikawa Prefecture aims to achieve "Japan's No. 1 Happiness" by promoting the creation of an environment where people can have and raise children with peace of mind, and a society where people can live healthy and secure lives throughout their lives. As part of this effort, the prefecture is working to disseminate correct knowledge about sex and health to a wide range of age groups, starting with young people from puberty, and to enhance support for those who wish to conceive.

The Company launched its "Lunaluna" service in 2000. By utilizing the big data accumulated in "Lunaluna" and its proprietary ovulation prediction algorithm*1, the Company leverages 25 years of accumulated know-how and knowledge to support women's health across life stages, including menstrual management, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, and menopause.

Against this backdrop, the partnership agreement has been concluded to enable both parties to cooperate and support women's health management.

2. Areas of Partnership and Cooperation

Utilizing "Lunaluna" provided by the Company, we will cooperate and collaborate on the following matters: (1) Dissemination and promotion of correct knowledge regarding women's health management from a young age, including puberty. (2) Dissemination and promotion of correct knowledge and support regarding pregnancy, childbirth, infertility, and recurrent miscarriage. (3) Support for couples wishing to conceive. (4) Other matters deemed necessary by both parties.

【How to Use】

For first-time "Lunaluna" users or those who have used it before but have not downloaded the app, follow steps 1 to 5. For current users, follow steps 2 to 5.

2 Register for a new ID / Log in

3 Register/Update Profile Information

Prefecture: Select Ishikawa Prefecture

City/Town: Select your city/town of residence

4 Access the Ishikawa Prefecture information page from the guidance displayed on the "Lunaluna" app home screen or menu screen.

5 Register according to the procedure described on the Ishikawa Prefecture information page.

*Existing "Lunaluna" users can continue to use their data linked to their Lunaluna ID after changing plans. Data can be continued even after the free provision period ends and you switch to the free plan, or if you subscribe to a paid plan yourself. Check your ID registration and login status from Each Service Menu > Settings > Lunaluna ID.

*Those who are already subscribed to a paid "Lunaluna" plan should cancel their paid plan and access the Ishikawa Prefecture information page after their next contract renewal date. For instructions on how to cancel a paid plan, please refer to Service Menu > Settings > Paid Plan Management/Cancellation.

*The free provision of the "Premium Course" is only available to residents of Ishikawa Prefecture.

Information Dissemination on Basic Knowledge of Fertility and Women's Health Support

"Lunaluna" provides knowledge enlightenment as women's health management support tailored to life stages, including the distribution of basic knowledge about fertility and infertility treatment. In addition, it offers self-check functions that refer to age, fertility history, and past menstrual cycles to propose appropriate steps for fertility and recommend visits to medical institutions.
