Musashino University (Koto-ku, Tokyo; President: Seiko Konishi), in co-sponsorship with the Japan Educational Pathways Network (JEPN), held the "JEPN Student Reunion Day" at its Ariake Campus on Monday, March 16.
Four years have passed since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, and unstable social conditions have continued for a long time in Syria and Afghanistan. Amidst this situation, the "JEPN Student Reunion Day" is held annually as a place for refugee students and graduates residing in Japan to gather and interact.
The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on their experiences in Japan and to consider their future. This year, the event was held at Musashino University in three parts. Not only students from Ukraine, Syria, and Afghanistan, but also Japanese students participated and interacted. At the reception party in the third part, Lilia Morska, who graduated from Musashino University's graduate school last September, participated and performed a song.
