Animate to Release 'Nintama Rantaro' Traditional Lanterns via 'animate LIMITED SELECTION', Pre-orders Start May 15

Animate Co., Ltd. has announced the release of traditional Japanese lanterns (andon) themed after 'Nintama Rantaro' as part of its 'animate LIMITED SELECTION' (AniSele) project. This project involves collaborations with various merchandise makers to create premium, Animate-exclusive products. The 'Nintama Rantaro' lanterns, scheduled for release in October 2026, allow fans to decorate their rooms with the lively ninja students. Pre-orders will be accepted at all Animate stores nationwide and the Animate online store from May 15 to June 14, 2026. Each lantern is priced at 8,800 yen (tax included) and features a pine wood frame. Please note that the light bulb is sold separately.
