Mavericks Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shota Okuno), the provider of the video generation AI "NoLang," has newly added "Scheduled Posting" and "Thumbnail Upload" features to NoLang's YouTube integration. Users can now set release dates and times and specify thumbnails directly from the YouTube upload settings screen, eliminating the need to open YouTube Studio separately. This update aims to reduce the burden of posting tasks for creators and corporate administrators who continuously distribute videos.

The Manual Labor Wall in "Posting" Remains Even After "Production" is Streamlined
In the field of video marketing, the burden of the production stage remains significant. A survey on the utilization and cost-effectiveness of video marketing conducted by WandsMind Inc. (Hikaku Biz) and Funusual Inc. among 148 video users (conducted from February 18 to March 7, 2025) revealed that 56.1% cited "production takes time" and 40.5% cited "lack of in-house expertise," indicating the high workload of the production process (Note 1).
On the other hand, the "posting" process after video completion also presents a burden that is often overlooked. Uploading to YouTube involves numerous small manual tasks, including entering titles, descriptions, categories, and tags, as well as adjusting publication timing and preparing thumbnail images. As the number of videos to be posted increases, the time spent on these tasks also grows. For creators and social media managers of companies that continuously distribute videos, these per-post tasks can easily become a bottleneck in maintaining update frequency.
Thumbnails, in particular, are a crucial element that directly influences viewer choice. YouTube's official help pages state that "90% of top-performing videos use a custom thumbnail" (Note 2). Furthermore, it is estimated that half of all channels and videos on YouTube have an impression-to-click-through rate (CTR) between 2% and 10% (Note 3), making the thumbnail set at the time of publication a critical factor in determining playback numbers.
Regarding posting timing, when an administrator operates in real-time for each upload, there is often a discrepancy between the times when viewers are most likely to watch and the poster's availability during holidays or busy periods. To alleviate this remaining burden in the "posting" process, the video generation AI "NoLang" has newly added scheduled posting and thumbnail upload features to its existing YouTube integration.

"Scheduled Posting" and "Thumbnail" Features Added to YouTube Integration
"NoLang," the video generation AI, has long featured a "YouTube Integration" that allows direct posting of videos generated within NoLang to YouTube. This latest update adds two new features to the posting screen: "Scheduled Posting" and "Thumbnail Upload."
The ability to complete everything from video generation and editing to YouTube posting settings solely within the NoLang interface remains unchanged. The update adds two new setting items that influence the quality and timing of posts: "When to publish" and "Which thumbnail to use."
While NoLang's social media integration supports posting to Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and Facebook Pages in addition to YouTube, the newly added scheduled posting and thumbnail upload features are exclusively available on the YouTube upload settings screen.
Select the social media integration button from the NoLang viewing screen to begin integration.
Once integration is complete, set the thumbnail and scheduled posting to automatically complete YouTube uploads.
Scheduled Posting Feature Allows Pre-Setting of Publication Date and Time
A new "Schedule Post" switch has been added to the YouTube upload settings screen. When turned on, a date and time selection field for specifying the publication date and time appears.
Previously, if users wanted to adjust the publication timing after generating and posting a video within NoLang, they had to separately set the schedule in YouTube Studio. However, with the new scheduled posting feature, this task can now be completed entirely within the NoLang screen.
By decoupling the timing of video generation and upload from the actual publication time on YouTube, administrators no longer need to manually operate at peak viewing hours. This allows for scheduled releases during times that are difficult for administrators to manage, such as late at night, early in the morning, or on holidays.
Upload Thumbnail Images to Create Videos That Capture Viewer Attention
A "Thumbnail" section has been added to the YouTube upload settings screen, allowing users to upload any image file to set as the video's thumbnail.
Images can be uploaded via drag-and-drop or by clicking. Supported formats are JPEG and PNG, with a file size limit of 2MB. The selected image is previewed on the spot before uploading, and can be deleted and re-selected at any time using the icon next to the preview. Previously, setting a custom thumbnail required a separate upload to YouTube Studio, but this process is now integrated into NoLang's posting screen.
Reduce the Burden of Continuous Distribution with Batch Generation and Scheduled Releases
For creators and companies that continuously post videos to YouTube, the ability to generate multiple videos in batches and set different publication dates and times for each allows for the creation of a distribution schedule for several days to weeks within a concentrated work period. A key benefit is that the entire process of video generation and posting settings can be completed at once, eliminating the need to stop and perform posting operations for each individual video.
Achieve automatic posting to YouTube with a single button from NoLang.
This feature also supports operations that separate administrator working hours from publication timing, such as dedicating weekday business hours to production and posting settings, and scheduling releases for evenings or holidays when viewers are more active. When combined with the thumbnail upload feature, it becomes possible to prepare thumbnails with a consistent design for each video theme or series, leading to improved overall channel visual consistency and click-through rates.
For example, a channel that distributes weekly information can generate several videos in batches, set thumbnails for each, and schedule them for automatic release on specific days of the week. This ensures continuous distribution even when the administrator is unavailable.
For channels operating with "unlisted" settings, such as for training or internal content, pre-setting the desired publication date and time makes it easier to align announcement timing with video release. For teams managing multiple social media accounts, this feature can also be used to plan YouTube release schedules in conjunction with posting plans for other platforms.
Future Outlook
Mavericks Inc. plans to continue enhancing features that seamlessly connect video "production" and "distribution." Following this update, which increases the flexibility of posting settings, the company will also consider features to support post-release performance analysis and verification.
