MW Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Co-Founder & CEO: Shuzo Narita), a startup developing 'Living Home'—a next-generation house where AI robotics operate daily—has announced the completion of a 3 billion JPY seed funding round through equity financing from multiple institutional, corporate, and individual investors, alongside loans from financial institutions.
This funding will accelerate the commercialization of 'Living Home.' The first project (Himonya, Tokyo) has already received purchase applications immediately after launch, with over 1,000 inquiries. The second project (Kego, Fukuoka) is also seeing high interest, and the third project (Yamate, Kanagawa), consisting of three buildings, is scheduled for completion by the end of June 2026.
MW's approach focuses on 'Residential Physical AI.' This refers to a technical framework where AI autonomously perceives and understands the residential environment, makes judgments based on the situation, and executes physical actions via robots or other means.
With these funds, MW will expand its brand supply, build a residential OS, advance R&D in AI robotics and physical AI, and move forward with the plan to provide its housing platform to other homebuilders and developers.
