MyVoice Com Inc. conducted its fourth internet survey on 'Premium Food and Beverages' from April 1 to April 7, 2026.

This survey focused on food and beverage items priced slightly higher than standard products, offering added value in terms of ingredients, quality, or manufacturing methods. Over 50% of respondents reported purchasing premium food or beverages in the past year, with the highest participation among women in their 60s and 70s.

The primary reasons cited for purchase were: 'wanting to enjoy great taste' (41.9%), 'wanting to experience a luxury feeling' (32.4%), and 'as a reward for myself' (30.0%). Younger consumers tended to prioritize 'rewards' and 'luxury,' while older consumers emphasized 'quality,' 'safety and peace of mind,' and 'health benefits.'

Approximately 30% of respondents expressed an intention to purchase premium food and beverages in the future. The most important factors during purchase were 'taste' (65.2%), followed by 'quality' (34.8%), and 'ingredients' (26.8%).
