About Nagomi no Yoneya (Yoneya Co., Ltd.) Founded in Meiji 32 (1899). It began by creating "Kuriyokan" (chestnut yokan), inspired by "Kurikansho" (chestnut jelly), a vegetarian dish from Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, using local chestnuts, and selling it as a souvenir for pilgrims visiting Naritasan.
