Outdoor documentary variety show produced by Nagoya Broadcasting Network (NBN). "OgiYahagi no Happy Camp" airs every Thursday at 0:20 AM.
The concept is for adults to return to their childhood and enjoy themselves to the fullest in the great outdoors. The show delivers a realistic look at OgiYahagi and their guests enjoying a day off.
This time, the theme is "Korean-Style Camping," taught by comedian Taketo. Welcoming Angelina 1/3, a microphone performer from the girl band "Gacharic Spin" who has appeared on the show many times, they will enjoy the latest Korean trends, from setting up the latest air tents to cooking exquisite Korean gourmet food.
◆ OgiYahagi talk about their bond from student days in a giant air tent... Upon arriving at the campsite, the group immediately started setting up an air tent from the trending Korean brand "Coody." Using an electric air pump, they created a comfortable space with 10 square meters of floor area and a 2.2-meter ceiling height in just 10 minutes! They also brought in a double-sized air bed. Yahagi operated the pump while Ogi adjusted the firmness, showing their great teamwork. The bed was ready in just 90 seconds. While lying on the bed, Ogi reminisced about their student days, saying, "Back then, when I went to your house, you'd be sleeping on the bed and tell me, 'Stay until I fall asleep.'" He shared a heartwarming episode about how he would quietly leave after making sure Yahagi was asleep.
They also challenged themselves to assemble a multi-person hexagon table, a symbol of group camping in Korea. Despite the puzzle-like structure, OgiYahagi intuitively assembled it without instructions, showcasing their long-standing chemistry.
◆ Praised as "Restaurant Quality"! Tasting exquisite Korean gourmet food! After working up a sweat, they prepared lunch. Taketo cooked a special Sundubu-jjigae with vegetables, pork, and secret ingredients like salted squid and natto. Angelina 1/3 made Korean pancakes (chijimi) using a multi-griddle. Ogi made Korean-style rice balls (chumok-bap) with pickled radish and seaweed, while Yahagi prepared three-colored namul. Everyone was thrilled with the rich flavors, especially the Sundubu-jjigae, which received high praise for the unique combination of ingredients. The chijimi and chumok-bap were also highly rated, proving that Korean cuisine is a perfect match for camping.
