Nakanishi Mfg. Co., Ltd. (Osaka) reported the 2025 results of its system where the company subsidizes school lunch fees for employees with children in elementary and junior high school. In 2025, a total of 6,662,009 yen was paid for 154 children. The decrease from the previous year's 7,838,771 yen is due to the expansion of free school lunch programs by local governments. The company considers this system highly socially significant as a measure against the declining birthrate and plans to continue it. The company has introduced many unique welfare programs born from employee suggestions, such as childbirth bonuses, entrance celebration money, promotion of male parental leave, and expanded childcare working hours. Nakanishi Mfg. is a kitchen equipment manufacturer founded in 1946 and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market.
