A Modern Utopia Appears in the Mountains of Gunma: The 'Hana Momo no Oka Festival' with 1,000 Blooming Peach Flowers

Nakanojo Gardens in Gunma Prefecture will hold the 'Hana Momo no Oka Festival' from March 28, 2026. The festival will feature an immersive picnic experience among the blooming peach flowers, as well as a market with local bread and 'konomon' (Japanese sweets) on weekends in April. On specific dates, the festival will also include a 'Night Cherry Blossom Light-Up' event with traditional Japanese music and local beer. The event is expected to attract many visitors, with 11,306 people attending last year's festival. The 'Hana Momo no Oka Festival' will be held from March 28 to April 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The 'Night Cherry Blossom Light-Up' event will be held on April 9-11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
