Presenters Announced for the 3rd Kobe Prize Award Ceremony, an Academic Award Aimed at Energizing Japan!

The Nakatani Foundation will hold the 3rd Kobe Prize Award Ceremony on May 31, 2026, at the Kobe Portopia Hotel. The Kobe Prize honors researchers with outstanding original work in the Bio Medical Engineering (BME) field, blending life sciences and engineering. This year, Atsushi Miyawaki will receive the Grand Prize, while Kyogo Kawaguchi, Toshinori Fujie, and Aya Takeoka will receive the Young Investigator Awards. The ceremony will feature ambassadors Suzu Yamanouchi and Hiroaki Suga, jury chair Masashi Yanagisawa, and performances by calligrapher Mariko Kinoshita and trumpeter Miki Hirose.
