On August 5 (Wed), Active Soccer Players from Nankatsu SC to Host a Heatwave Event at Asakusa's Largest Public Bathhouse 'Hidamari no Yu Hagi no Yu'! 'Nankatsu Sauna Club Outreach Heatwave'

The 'Nankatsu Sauna Club Outreach Heatwave 3rd Edition in Hagi no Yu'—featuring active players from Nankatsu SC, a football club striving toward the J.League—will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Hidamari no Yu Hagi no Yu, a public bathhouse located in Taito City, Tokyo.

As part of the 'Nankatsu Sauna Club' initiative, where active football players serve as löyly masters, the event will include heatwave sessions led by players, a special 'YAJIN Blower Heatwave' by Masayuki Okano—former Japan national team player and current General Manager of Nankatsu SC—along with a sauna talk show and sales of limited collaboration goods.

A Local Project Born Under the Slogan 'Harmonizing Katsushika'

The Nankatsu Sauna Club is a project in which active players from the men's football club 'Nankatsu SC' serve as löyly masters.

Under the concept of 'Harmonizing Katsushika,' the club aims not only to contribute to the local community through football but also to promote sauna culture and strengthen collaboration with local facilities.

Based at their home sauna, 'Capsule Hotel & Sauna Rainbow Shin-Koiwa,' in Katsushika Ward, players are learning löyly techniques and helping energize the community in non-competitive settings.

3rd Outreach Heatwave at Tokyo’s Largest Public Bathhouse, Hagi no Yu

The 'Outreach Heatwave' initiative takes the team beyond their home sauna to host löyly events at popular sauna facilities across the region.

Previously held at 'Soka Health Center' in Saitama and 'Sauna Nordic' in Tokyo, the events have fostered connections with sauna enthusiasts and football fans alike.

'Hidamari no Yu Hagi no Yu,' the venue for this third edition, is renowned as one of Tokyo’s largest public bathhouses, featuring extensive bathing and sauna facilities. This event offers an opportunity to introduce Nankatsu SC and the Nankatsu Sauna Club to audiences beyond Katsushika Ward.

Active Football Players as Löyly Masters!

During the event, active players from Nankatsu SC’s top team will appear in the men’s sauna as löyly masters.

They will conduct four sessions of the 'Nankatsu Heatwave,' performed by two-player teams, and make the external debut of the 'Nankatsu Show Aufguss'—a narrative-driven, theatrical löyly performance.

Additionally, Masayuki Okano, General Manager of Nankatsu SC and former Japan national team player, will perform the 'YAJIN Blower Heatwave,' delivering unique entertainment that blends football and sauna culture—something only Nankatsu SC can offer.

On the second-floor relaxation area, a sauna talk show will be hosted by Genta Ohmae (Nankatsu SC player), Masayuki Okano (General Manager, Nankatsu SC / Former Japan National Team), and Yuuzou Nagano (Owner of Hagi no Yu).

The discussion will cover topics such as the appeal of saunas, facility development, and the behind-the-scenes story of the Nankatsu Sauna Club’s founding. Female guests are welcome to attend the talk show and merchandise sales, provided they are users of Hagi no Yu. Enjoy refreshments while casually watching the event.
