By the end of February 2026, the full renovation and refurbishment of our company building will be nearly complete. The temporary store, which had been relocated within the premises, will return to its original location, and we will resume operations from March 1st.

The sake brewery of Nara Kasugayama Brewery boasts a history of approximately 400 years, originating from "Yokotaya," which began in the mid-Edo period. After "Yokotaya" continued for 13 generations, in the 10th year of the Meiji era (1877), Yagi Chiyonosuke, a rice wholesaler in Dojima, Osaka, acquired the entire business and it became "Yagi Brewery." Approximately 150 years later, in December 2022, "Honda Net Kinki" became the new owner, and the company was renamed "Nara Kasugayama Brewery" for a new start.

Resumption of Sake Brewing and Evolution into an Experiential Hub for Food and Culture With the completion of the renovation work, we are embarking on a new chapter in our history. We plan to resume the production of Japanese sake, shochu, and mirin. While the exact timing is undecided, we are also considering opening the brewery for tours and launching a restaurant.

The renovated building features an object made from the pillars of the previous structure and a Japanese-style courtyard with a large cherry tree that is about to be in full bloom. As the weather warms up, it is very pleasant to relax in the courtyard and admire the cherry blossoms. You are welcome to stroll through the courtyard freely. We would be delighted if you would visit us to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

We will continue to dedicate ourselves to producing products that delight our customers. We appreciate your continued patronage. We sincerely look forward to your visit. Store exterior
