(Location: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture / President & CEO: Koichi Sakaguchi / hereinafter referred to as "The Senshu Ikeda Bank").

Background of this Partnership

The shortage of skilled workers, who form the core of construction sites, is extremely serious in Japan's construction industry, and it is a common challenge for regional construction companies.

To solve this chronic issue of labor shortage in the construction industry, Contract and Zenken have been developing a craftsman introduction service and a direct recruiting service called "Craftsman Scout" to match people who want to work in the construction industry with companies facing labor shortages.

The Senshu Ikeda Bank has been gathering information on the importance of outsourcing and human resource needs from its client construction companies on a daily basis. However, particularly regarding the introduction of highly specialized craftsmen, they faced challenges such as licensing issues and a lack of in-house resources and know-how to handle such requests.

Through this partnership, Contract and Zenken will leverage The Senshu Ikeda Bank's strong regional network and Nareru Group's expertise in supporting construction personnel to expand the craftsman introduction business in the Kansai area.

Furthermore, Nareru Group, which includes Contract and Zenken, positions its craftsman introduction business as one of its growth areas in its medium-term management plan "Change and Growth 2030," and this partnership is part of those efforts.
