The Growing Risk of Working Hour Violations in Operations
In response to the "2024 Problem," transport operators have begun to seriously address the revised standards for improvement (enforced April 2024). However, many companies are facing the serious challenge of "not being able to detect violations at the dispatch stage, leaving risks remaining."
With increased guidance from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, penalties for working hour violations (such as revocation of business permits) are becoming stricter than ever, making post-hoc measures insufficient. It is now urgent to establish a system that "accurately grasps the compliance status of working hours, including planned schedules, at the time of dispatch and prevents violations in advance."
Seminar Objective: Providing Practical Measures for Dispatch Operations
This seminar will provide practical explanations of what is actually happening in dispatch operations and what measures are effective, based on specific examples of working hour violations. It focuses on practical preventive measures utilizing the integration of digital tachographs and dispatch systems, rather than just explaining legal knowledge, and is designed to help participating companies build their own systems.
Furthermore, this seminar is the first in a three-part series aimed at comprehensively addressing the challenges facing the transport industry since the "2024 Problem." Each session is independent, so even participating in just one session will provide significant value. By participating in all three sessions, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the overall industry challenges and solutions, covering the prevention of working hour violations (legal compliance) in the first session, compliance with the new Trucking Business Act (document management) in the second, and the appropriate cost system (management visualization) in the third.

Web Seminar Content
This seminar is structured in stages, from the basic knowledge required for preventing working hour violations to the implementation methods through the integration of digital tachographs and dispatch systems.
After the seminar, we will collect questions and consultation requests from participating companies via a survey. For companies that say, "We have similar issues," or "We would like to discuss in detail," our representatives will contact them individually to propose measures tailored to their specific situations.
Main Lecture Topics
Reality of Violation Risks Occurring in Operations We will briefly summarize the revisions to the standards for improvement and then specifically introduce violation patterns that frequently occur in actual operations. The examples, which may apply even to companies that believe they are safe, will raise awareness of violation risks.
Reasons Why Prevention of Violations at the Dispatch Stage is Necessary We will explain why traditional post-hoc checks are insufficient and why pre-detection at the dispatch stage is essential. We will explain the necessity of a system that allows dispatchers to "grasp the compliance status of working hours, including planned schedules" and make immediate decisions by utilizing real-time data from digital tachographs.
Demonstration of Actual Dispatch Operations We will demonstrate a system that grasps working hour compliance status at the dispatch stage and prevents violations by integrating data from digital tachographs with the dispatch system. We will introduce the specific operational flow from the perspective of a dispatcher.
