NeoX Inc. has established a new operational scheme with Kakehashi Inc. to automate prescription entry. Prescription images sent through Kakehashi's patient follow-up system, 'Pocket Musubi,' are now automatically received and analyzed by NeoX's AI-OCR service, 'Yakumaru Kenta,' and reflected directly into the receipt computer (rececom). This integration officially began on May 13 at select stores of Welcia Pharmacy Co., Ltd. and Sogo Medical Co., Ltd. Both 'Yakumaru Kenta,' with its track record of over 100 million prescriptions processed, and 'Pocket Musubi,' which provides patient follow-up and prescription submission features, are widely used in the industry. By eliminating the need for printing and manual entry, the collaboration aims to significantly reduce administrative burdens on pharmacy staff, allowing them to focus on patient-facing services. The partnership is expected to expand to more locations based on the performance in the pilot phase.
