The brilliance of a multi-competition winner shines through!
Risa Mimura is a rising trumpeter currently refining her craft in Germany. She has achieved outstanding success in major Japanese competitions, winning first prizes in the Brass category of the 16th Tokyo Music Competition, the Trumpet category of the 87th Music Competition of Japan, and the Trumpet category of the 36th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition.
While the trumpet is known for its brilliant presence in orchestras and wind ensembles, there are few opportunities to experience its resonance in a solo setting. This performance offers a program that allows you to feel the beautiful tone and diverse expressions of the trumpet up close. It is highly recommended not only for classical music fans but also for those familiar with wind and brass instruments.
Please enjoy the performance of this highly anticipated young trumpeter who has been polishing her skills abroad, right here at the Nerima Culture Center!
