NetEase Games is pleased to announce that the qualifying tournament for the e-sports medal event 'Identity V - Asian Games Version' at the 20th Asian Games (2026/Aichi-Nagoya) has concluded, and the teams for the main competition have been decided.
The qualifiers took place from Friday, May 30 to Monday, June 1, 2026, at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. Representative teams from across Asia competed for a spot in the main event. Following three days of intense matches, nine national and regional teams earned their qualification.
Combined with the host nation, Japan, which had already secured an automatic entry, a total of 10 teams have been confirmed for the main competition of 'Identity V - Asian Games Version.'
Competing Teams for the Main Event The following 10 national and regional teams will compete in the 20th Asian Games 'Identity V - Asian Games Version' main tournament:
- China - Hong Kong, China - Indonesia - Japan - Korea - Malaysia - Philippines - Thailand - Chinese Taipei - Vietnam
About the Qualifying Tournament The qualifiers were held in accordance with the regulations of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and relevant e-sports selection guidelines. A total of 16 countries and regions from five Asian zones participated, with 101 players and 15 coaches registered. Over three days, a total of 35 Best-of-3 (BO3) round-robin matches were played.
About 'Identity V - Asian Games Version' Identity V is an asymmetrical multiplayer game developed and operated by NetEase Games. For the 20th Asian Games, a dedicated 'Asian Games Version' will be used to ensure a fair competitive environment. This version is based on the Chinese mainland live server as of November 13, 2025, and includes 49 survivors, 32 hunters, and 8 official maps for competition.
