Netmarble Launches Second Phase of 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' 1st Anniversary Update: Introduces Awakening System and New Legend Character Skuld

Netmarble Corp. has implemented the second phase of its large-scale 1st-anniversary update for the high-fantasy RPG 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' (developed by Netmarble Nexus). This update, released on May 28, introduces significant content expansions including new legendary characters and core gameplay systems.

◆ New Legend Character: [Third Seat of Prophecy] Skuld The update introduces Skuld, a legendary magic-type character known as the 'Third Seat of Prophecy.' Her arrival completes the assembly of the 'Heavenly Guardians' within the world of Re:BIRTH. To celebrate, Netmarble is hosting a Skuld Pick-up Summon and a reinforcement event where players can earn rewards such as 'Pooki's Proof' and 'Heart Embers' through in-game missions.

◆ Awakening System and [Black Justice] Sylvester The 'Awakening System' has been officially implemented, beginning with the legendary magic-type character [Black Justice] Sylvester from the Dark Knights. Awakened characters gain powerful new skills and enhanced performance. Players can initiate awakening through dedicated character quests in the 'Enhance' menu, restoring 'Awakening Shards' to complete the transformation. Awakening also modifies character appearances and skill animations.

◆ Exclusive Equipment System A new 'Exclusive Equipment' system has been added to provide deeper character customization. This system allows players to unlock equipment slots, acquire specialized gear, and apply stat bonuses through tuning, facilitating more strategic team compositions.

◆ 1st Anniversary and Scenario Events A new scenario event, 'The Mage Who Weaves Thread and the Twins Who Shared Tomorrow,' is now live. Players can explore Skuld’s backstory and earn 'Legendary Character Summon Tickets' and 'Shining Skill Enhance Stones' until June 11. Other ongoing events include the 'Awakening Expedition' for obtaining Awakening Stones and login bonuses featuring pet and character summon tickets.

'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' is a formal remake of the original 'Seven Knights,' which recorded 100 million downloads worldwide. It aims to deliver a 'complete turn-based battle' experience, combining strategic depth with modernized graphics.
