Netmarble has implemented a major update for its new animated open-world RPG 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' (developed by Netmarble F&C Inc.), which includes the introduction of the new character 'Merlin', the new main story ACT 14: [Time Trap], and the addition of a new area, the 'Restrained Sanctuary'.

◆ New SSR Character 'Merlin' Arrives!

'Merlin' is a member of the <Seven Deadly Sins> bearing the mark of the 'Boar's Sin of Gluttony'. She is a character who possesses vast knowledge and continuously seeks the truth. In the game, she can use three types of weapons: 'Grimoire', 'Wand', and 'Staff', allowing players to enjoy different combat styles depending on the equipped weapon.

When equipped with the 'Grimoire', she acts as a main dealer utilizing the 'Frostbite' effect, and by stacking frostbite to the maximum, the power of her switch skill increases significantly. When equipped with the 'Staff', she can stably activate burst skills while utilizing clones.

To commemorate the release of 'Merlin', various events are being held, including the exclusive costume 'Sacred Treasure: Morning Star Aldan', the 'Merlin Trial Event', and the 'Raid Mission - Path of the Conqueror' where tokens earned by completing missions can be exchanged for desired rewards.

Furthermore, players can earn luxurious rewards such as 'Mastery EXP (Special)', 'Pickup Character Gacha Tickets', and 'Brilliant Engraving Seals' in the login event.

Additionally, this update introduces the new main story ACT 14, 'Time Trap'. Players will chase clues from the 'Boar Hat' tavern, explore desert ruins, and close in on the secrets of 'Taranis' awaiting them.

Moreover, the new area 'Restrained Sanctuary' also makes its appearance. Set in mysterious ruins hidden by fierce sandstorms, 7 new gatherable items have been added.

In addition, an event where players can receive 100 'Star Fragments' every day for 14 days (up to 1,400 fragments) will be held.
