Networking equipment manufacturer D-Link (2332-TW) announced today (8th) its successful entry into the key supply chain of SpaceX, a globally renowned U.S. aerospace manufacturer. D-Link Technology will fully supply specialized network switches for data exchange nodes supporting SpaceX’s groundbreaking Starlink low-orbit satellite network service. Initial shipments are scheduled to commence in September 2026, with an estimated annual volume of 20,000 units.

D-Link stated it will comprehensively supply specialized network switches for data exchange nodes to support the Starlink low-orbit satellite network service. Given the extreme requirements for information security and geopolitical risk in aerospace communications, all products for this project are proudly manufactured in Taiwan, fully complying with the highest standards of the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). The NDAA prohibits the procurement of communications equipment from specific Chinese manufacturers, while the TAA mandates that products must be manufactured in the U.S. or non-restricted countries.

In addition to its success in the U.S. aerospace supply chain, D-Link Technology has achieved a major breakthrough in Europe’s core telecommunications market by partnering with a leading German cross-sector broadband and telecom network operator. In this highly strategic telecom deployment project, D-Link leverages its 'Made in Taiwan' high-performance quality to deliver 4G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) devices specifically designed for high-density urban communication environments.

These devices are primarily integrated with the operator’s mobile data plans, enabling a broad base of business and individual users with SIM-less module laptops to enjoy mobile internet access anytime, anywhere. Additionally, they serve as temporary internet alternatives for new fixed-line subscribers before physical lines are officially activated, ensuring seamless continuity of user network experience. Shipments for this project are expected to begin by the end of 2026, with a total volume reaching 50,000 units, fully supporting the operator’s flexible deployment of high-bandwidth urban infrastructure.

Regarding this strategic expansion into the European and U.S. markets, D-Link CEO Chang Chia-jui stated that in an era of shifting global dynamics, 'security and trust' are the strongest foundations for sustainable corporate development. Amid market price wars, D-Link upholds its core values by building networking equipment to the highest standards. The consecutive endorsements from major international players in Europe and the U.S. validate that D-Link’s technology and quality have reached world-class levels. The company will continue to serve as the most reliable communications backbone for global customers.
