Taiwan Stock Exchange announced late on the 9th that due to the approach of Typhoon Bavi and the Taipei City Government's decision to suspend operations for all public offices, the centralized trading market will be fully closed on July 10. All securities and fund settlements due on that day will be postponed to the next business day.
In addition to the stock market, Taipei's foreign exchange and futures markets will also halt trading for one day. The Taiwan Futures Exchange's centralized market will suspend both regular and after-hours trading sessions, and the centralized clearing operations for over-the-counter transactions will be suspended for one day.
