Concrete giant Kokusang (2504-TW) announced the topping-out of its corporate headquarters under construction in Nangang, with completion expected by the end of 2027, now entering the final countdown phase. The project’s substantial future development potential is highly anticipated and will bolster the group’s high-quality operational outlook.

Hsu Lan-Ying noted that since Kokusang’s founding in 1954 on Nangang Road Section 3, 72 years of accumulated robust operations and asset strength have been achieved. Across Taiwan, the company owns approximately 447,000 ping of land assets and operates 28 concrete plants distributed throughout counties and cities, supporting Taiwan’s AI technology infrastructure. The company’s original site is now undergoing a transformation into a world-class landmark building complex for the AI era.

The Kokusang corporate headquarters is located in the prime axis of Taipei’s East Gateway development zone, with a site area of 6,500 ping. It comprises two premium office towers, A and B, adjacent to key commercial buildings such as the RunTai Yucheng Tower—home to AI tech giant NVIDIA’s R&D center—and the Libai Commercial Tower, where Acer is located.

Tower A was designed by Foster + Partners, the UK-based architectural firm and Pritzker Prize winner, built to specifications for smart buildings, gold-level green buildings, and seismic certification. Fully owned by Kokusang, the building has a site area of approximately 4,000 ping, with 26 floors above ground and 5 underground levels.

Tower B is a Taipei City Government office building being constructed on a turnkey basis, with 20 floors above ground and 4 underground levels. Kokusang is responsible for construction and will receive a portion of the office floors upon completion. In total, Kokusang will hold approximately 46,000 ping of office floor area and around 550 parking spaces, representing substantial potential development value.

Driven by the East Gateway Development Plan, Nangang is rapidly transforming, leveraging its four-rail transit integration to emerge as a premier commercial office hub in Taipei. With the clustering of software, biotechnology, exhibitions, and financial industries—alongside recent influxes of global AI leaders and massive business opportunities—Nangang now possesses a world-class AI technology headquarters economic effect.

Beyond its significant assets in Nangang, Kokusang owns 1,400 ping of technology industrial land in Neihu’s Jiuzong section, nearly 20,000 ping of land in Guandu Zhouchimei Plain near Beitou Science Park—where NVIDIA’s overseas headquarters is planned—and over 2,000 ping of valuable land and plant assets near the Southern Taiwan Science Park. These assets will be revitalized in phased development plans, with immeasurable potential value.
