Anli Biopharma (7871-TW) Chairman Chen Hong-Kai has analyzed the Phase II clinical trial data of Enrupatinib (EI-1071), its novel Alzheimer's drug candidate, focusing on neuroinflammation reduction, and attracted attention from international pharmaceutical companies at the Asia Bio conference, initiating business discussions to accelerate licensing partnerships. The company also plans to submit an application for listing on Taiwan's Innovation Board this year.

Chen Hong-Kai pointed out that reducing neuroinflammation has become a core focus in the development of next-generation Alzheimer's treatments. Enrupatinib, developed by the company, is an oral CSF-1R inhibitor with the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. In Phase II clinical trials, it demonstrated potential in reducing biomarkers of neuroinflammation.

Chen further stated that the Phase II clinical data provides preliminary clinical evidence supporting the forward-looking scientific hypothesis that timely modulation of neuroinflammation may influence disease progression and neurological function. The company plans to actively advance large-scale follow-up trials. In terms of safety, oral Enrupatinib showed favorable safety and tolerability during the trial period.
