D-Car (2640-TW) experienced turbulent trading today (20th) on its ex-dividend day. With a cash dividend of NT$8 per share and an ex-dividend reference price of NT$153, the stock opened at NT$152 but plunged sharply to the daily limit-down price of NT$138, falling into a discount position.

D-Car reported consolidated revenue of NT$1.664 billion in the first half of the year, up 8.05% year-on-year. The taxi-hailing service remained the primary growth driver, increasing 12.37% annually. The company continues to deepen its corporate client base through nearly 14,000 partnered businesses and large physical dispatch points across Taiwan.

Meanwhile, D-Car is expanding into new business areas. Its 55688 Life Butler service has launched air conditioner cleaning and home cleaning services. As temperatures rise, consumers are increasingly outsourcing heavy household chores to professionals, boosting demand for premium home care services.

To expand recruitment of cleaning staff, 55688 Life Butler is offering attractive commission bonuses and highly flexible order autonomy.

Following its brand upgrade, D-Car has begun strategic cross-industry collaborations. Recently, it partnered with the popular Taiwanese tea brand Ke Bu Ke Fermented Tea House to launch co-branded cup designs and integrate their membership ecosystems, unveiling a new business model.
