Compeq (2313-TW) has concluded the subscription period for its rights issue of 42,000 new shares, successfully raising NT$8.61 billion as of the 14th. This marks the largest fundraising in the company's history and the largest in the PCB sector this year. The newly issued shares are scheduled to begin trading on July 27.
Compeq priced its rights issue at NT$205 per share. However, the company's stock price faced market selling pressure on the 20th, opening below the issue price and briefly hitting the daily lower limit of NT$191 during trading.
Since 2026, several PCB companies—including Yisheng (5291-TW), Linhong (5464-TW), and Juxiang (8074-TW)—have announced fundraising activities through convertible bonds or cash capital increases. However, Compeq's NT$8.61 billion rights issue is the largest in scale.
The established PCB manufacturer is accelerating capacity expansion in both Taiwan and Thailand. Recently, Compeq confirmed the acquisition of land and factory facilities in Guanyin Industrial Park, Taoyuan City, for over NT$2 billion to prepare for production expansion. Additionally, with the inclusion of new factory construction plans in Taiwan, the company's capital expenditure for the year is expected to reach NT$30 billion.
Compeq began investing in Thailand early and is currently advancing the second-phase construction of its Thai plant. The company's initial capital expenditure plan for 2026 was set at NT$12–15 billion, but due to a positive market outlook, the full-year capex could be increased to NT$30 billion, setting a new record high.
In the first quarter of 2026, Compeq reported revenue of NT$19.55 billion, with a gross margin of 17.98%, down 0.72 percentage points quarter-on-quarter but up 0.81 percentage points year-on-year. Net profit after tax reached NT$1.504 billion, down 33.66% quarter-on-quarter but up 14.53% year-on-year, resulting in earnings per share of NT$1.26.
Second-quarter 2026 revenue was NT$19.991 billion, up 2.27% quarter-on-quarter and 9.84% year-on-year. Total revenue for the first half of 2026 reached NT$39.54 billion, up 13.2% year-on-year.
