Largan Precision (3008-TW) continues its aggressive land acquisition in the Taichung Industrial Park. Following last month's purchase of 1,461 ping of land for NT$628 million in Nantun District, Taichung, the company today (22nd) acquired 1,247 ping of land and factory space on Industrial 21st Road for NT$561 million. The total transaction value of these two commercial real estate deals reaches NT$1.189 billion.

Largan's consecutive acquisition of industrial land within less than a month is primarily aimed at facility integration and preparing for future business developments.

Meanwhile, as industrial land transactions in the Taichung Industrial Park heat up, Baorong (2483-TW), benefiting from sustained high demand and continuous orders from its semiconductor customers, has decided at its board meeting to purchase land and factory space on Industrial 1st Road for NT$323 million to further develop this business segment. The land area acquired by Baorong is 702 ping, and the company plans to invest additional funds in equipment and construct new buildings to accommodate heavy stamping machinery.

Since the beginning of this year, Largan has been actively advancing its new Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) business. The market believes that these consecutive land acquisitions are likely a prelude to its new venture.

In terms of stock performance, Largan closed at NT$3,985 today, up 2.84% or NT$110 from yesterday, with trading volume increasing to 1,633 shares.
