According to the latest market research data from IDC, Acer (2353-TW) secured 7.2% market share in the U.S. personal computer market in the second quarter of 2026, ranking among the top five brands and demonstrating strong market competitiveness. Acer achieved a year-on-year growth rate of 12.8% and a quarter-on-quarter growth of 44.7%, both the highest among the top five brands, reflecting the effectiveness of its ongoing strategy to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market and expand its influence.

Acer stated that its growth in the U.S. market was driven by solid performance across retail and commercial channels, along with effective operations and shipment capabilities, which boosted sales momentum for high-end Swift laptops, Nitro gaming series, and mainstream Aspire laptops.

Acer highlighted particularly strong sales performance during Amazon Prime Day, achieving a 216% year-on-year sales increase—the best Prime Day performance in nearly four years. Chromebook sales surged by 75% year-on-year.

By offering a diversified product portfolio, Acer meets the needs of consumers, businesses, and the education sector. The company is actively expanding its AI PC lineup to address growing market demand for high performance, AI applications, and flexible usage scenarios, further strengthening its competitive advantage in the U.S. market.
