Loh Kaa Regenerative (6891-TW) announced today (21st) that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pegatron (4938-TW) to introduce the PEGAVERSE digital twin platform, integrating it with Loh Kaa’s physical production facilities—akin to installing an AI brain into a cell factory—to jointly build a smart GMP cell manufacturing facility.
Loh Kaa stated that under this collaboration, Pegatron will connect its self-developed PEGAVERSE AI and digital twin platform with Loh Kaa’s physical operational sites to establish a digital twin model of the cell factory.
Furthermore, Loh Kaa will leverage its expertise in cell therapy manufacturing processes and its open, GMP-compliant facility advantages, combining them with Pegatron’s strengths in AI, IoT, and digital twin technologies. These will be applied within Loh Kaa’s real-world operational environment. Both parties will deploy robots into the physical factory to perform operations, collect robotic motion trajectories, and transmit process parameters in real time, enabling seamless virtual-physical data integration with Pegatron’s digital twin system.
Chairman Chiou Chun-Jung stated, “Through deep collaboration with Pegatron and jointly defining new standards for IDMO, this marks a pivotal shift—cell therapy is no longer handcrafted but has entered an era of highly standardized, scalable 'chip-level smart mass production.'”
