Tensions between the United States and Iran continue to escalate, prompting the U.S. to increase its military aircraft presence in the Middle East. A U.S. official stated that the U.S. plans to deploy F-16 and F-35 fighter jets, along with additional aerial refueling aircraft, from bases in Europe.

Last week, President Trump received a briefing in the Situation Room on options for escalating military operations, including seizing Iran's key oil export hub, Kharg Island, and striking Iran's 'Mount Doab' nuclear facility.

However, the U.S. has not yet completely ruled out diplomatic solutions. U.S. Secretary of State Rubio recently stated that the U.S. remains open to returning to negotiations.
