Hankon-KY (7827-TW) announced today (22nd) the latest clinical observation data for its core clinical product HCB101. This update further deepens the company’s R&D strategy centered on macrophage-targeted tumor immunotherapy and supports the expansion of HCB101—from its core focus on二线 gastric cancer and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer—into additional gastrointestinal tumors.

Hankon explained that preliminary clinical data from the HCB101二线 colorectal cancer study support the potential of HCB101 to be applied across a broader range of gastrointestinal cancers. The data indicate that by activating macrophages, HCB101 may be used in combination with existing therapies to further enhance anti-tumor immune responses.

The company emphasized that二线 gastric cancer and GEJ cancer remain the most critical development indications for HCB101. At the same time, it continues to accumulate clinical experience using HCB101 in combination with standard therapies for cancers including gastric cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), gradually establishing a foundation for applications across different cancer types and treatment combinations.

Dr. Lu Ying-Ming, Chief Medical Officer, stated that the current data support further evaluation of HCB101’s value in colorectal and other gastrointestinal cancers. He emphasized that二线 gastric cancer remains a key clinical development focus, and based on this, the company will advance HCB101’s development in other indications and combination treatment strategies.

Chairman Liu Shih-Kao mentioned the goal of progressively establishing HCB101 as a foundational macrophage-directed immunotherapy that complements existing standard treatments, thereby creating more therapeutic opportunities for patients.
