As the calendar moves into the second half of the year, the 'cooling trio'—Kinetic (3653-TW), Auras (3017-TW), and Sanyo (3324-TW)—are all bullish on their operational outlook for the remainder of the year, driving their stocks to continue rallying today (24), with all three surging over half of the daily trading limit.
Auras led the charge, opening sharply higher at NT$235.0 and quickly hitting the daily limit-up at NT$249.0, ranking 17th among Taiwan's 'thousand-dollar stocks' (stocks over NT$1,000). The stock reclaimed both its 20-day and 60-day moving averages, with trading volume exceeding 2,000 lots.
Kinetic rose as high as NT$382.0, ranking 11th among thousand-dollar stocks, and recovered above its 60-day and 120-day moving averages. Sanyo also surged over half the daily limit, peaking at NT$959.0, reclaiming its 20-day and 250-day moving averages.
Auras reported second-quarter revenue of NT$49.121 billion, a 65.98% year-on-year increase, setting a new quarterly record. Fueled by strong AI server demand, the company's order visibility extends to 2029. Analysts expect Auras to further increase its shipment share in AI servers for both ASIC and NVIDIA (NVDA-US) GPUs, with liquid cooling emerging as the next key growth driver.
Kinetic posted Q2 revenue of NT$7.274 billion, up 40.4% year-on-year. The company continues to ship products for both ASIC and GPU applications, with ASIC volume ramping up in the second half. Starting in the third quarter, monthly ASIC shipments for several customers are expected to surpass GPU volumes. Customer demand remains robust, with product planning extending five years into the future.
Sanyo reported Q2 revenue of NT$8.699 billion, up 63.73% year-on-year, another quarterly record. The company benefits from growing demand for both ASIC and GPU solutions. Water cooling is gradually being adopted for ASIC applications and will ramp up in volume in the second half, with water-cooled products expected to account for 40% of revenue. Overall, Sanyo expects water-cooling solutions to represent 70% of total revenue by year-end. Analysts forecast Sanyo's full-year revenue growth to reach 60–70% in 2024.
