PC brand ASUS (2357-TW) benefited from strong demand for AI PCs and AI servers, achieving a monthly revenue breakthrough of over NT$100 billion in June—the first time in company history and a new single-month record. ASUS has successfully entered the first shipment cycle of Vera Rubin, with growth momentum expected to remain strong in the second half of the year. After ASUS's dividend payout on July 1, foreign investors have consecutively bought shares for 17 trading days, accumulating a net purchase of 26,657 lots. Despite adverse market conditions, the stock price rose four consecutive days by 12%, with a year-to-date gain exceeding 10% in July, closing at NT$771 on the 24th.
AI servers have become ASUS's most critical growth engine this year. The company successfully joined the initial supply chain for the next-generation AI server Vera Rubin and raised its full-year AI server revenue outlook during its earnings call, increasing the projected annual growth from 50%–100% to over 100%.
In the personal computer market, while global Q2 PC shipments declined 4% year-on-year due to soaring memory prices, ASUS defied the trend with resilient performance. Its Q2 shipments reached 4.81 million units, up 4% year-on-year, increasing its global market share to 7.4%.
As cloud service providers aggressively build data centers, analysts estimate that AI servers will account for up to 80% of ASUS's total server revenue. The server business group's share of total revenue could exceed 50%, marking a strategic shift from a traditional PC manufacturer to a key player in the AI server sector.
