U.S. President Trump announced on Thursday the 30th that a 'Peace Committee' had reached a 'historic agreement' that Hamas and all other armed groups in the Gaza Strip would fully disarm.

Trump thanked Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for their mediation, and said that although significant progress had been made in Gaza, much work remained to be done. Trump stated that this agreement was a major milestone in implementing the 'Gaza 20-Point Plan'.

Under the agreement, the Gaza Strip will be gradually transferred to a new Palestinian government, which will work with the 'Peace Committee' to manage local governance. Gaza will no longer be used as a base for launching attacks, and Israel will also receive security guarantees.

The agreement will be implemented in stages. Trump mentioned that as the disarmament process progresses, Israeli forces will gradually withdraw. International stabilization forces will cooperate with newly formed Palestinian police units to take responsibility for maintaining security in Gaza and surrounding areas.
