Under the impetus of the Asia Asset Management Hub policy, by the end of May this year, Taiwan's banking sector 'Wealth Management 2.0' high-net-worth (HNW) business scale has doubled to NT$2.7 trillion, with the number of clients reaching 25,000. Changhua Bank (2801-TW) has benefited from the explosive growth in its HNW wealth management business, delivering outstanding performance in the first half of the year. The cumulative consolidated after-tax profit for the first six months reached NT$11.314 billion, with earnings per share (EPS) at NT$0.94, both setting new records for the same period. Over the past year, Changhua Bank has focused on refining its structure and strengthening growth momentum, successfully increasing overseas earnings and wealth management fee income. The bank expects domestic HNW client numbers and asset under management (AUM) to continue growing by year-end.

Changhua Bank is actively expanding its presence in the HNW wealth management market in alignment with the government's 'Asia Asset Management Hub' policy. It has integrated professional services such as investment management, family offices, trust planning, asset succession, and cross-border finance to build a one-stop wealth management platform.

Since establishing its HNW service team in 2019 (Year 107), Changhua Bank has accumulated experience serving over 1,500 HNW clients. By integrating cross-domain expertise in market research, investment strategy, tax planning, insurance, trusts, succession, and asset allocation, the bank provides customized wealth management solutions. The wealth management advisory team currently comprises 500 professionals, with plans to hire an additional 40 specialists this year to continuously expand service capacity.

In terms of HNW business expansion, Changhua Bank has steadily grown since launching its HNW services in October 2025 (Year 114), officially launching the 'Asia Asset Hub Kaohsiung Special Zone Branch' on March 26 this year. Centered on 'leverage optimization' and 'family succession,' the branch offers premium financing combined with tax planning, trust beneficiary rights collateral loans, and family office services.

Changhua Bank expects HNW client numbers and asset under management (AUM) to continue growing by the end of 2026 (Year 115), further enhancing its market competitiveness. Driven by the overall Asia Asset Hub policy, by the end of May this year, Taiwan's banking sector 'Wealth Management 2.0' HNW business scale has doubled to NT$2.7 trillion, with client numbers reaching 25,000. Changhua Bank is well-positioned to benefit from this industry growth trend.

In investment and wealth advisory services, Changhua Bank provides diversified financial product allocation recommendations based on clients' risk profiles, investment goals, and asset allocation needs. These include domestic and international funds, bonds, structured products, foreign stocks, and insurance products, while strictly implementing investment suitability management and risk control mechanisms.

Additionally, Changhua Bank has hosted over 100 HNW client seminars over the years, promoting family wealth management services. Through integrated solutions such as trust structures, asset succession planning, tax consulting, and business succession advisory, the bank assists HNW clients in properly arranging sustainable intergenerational wealth transfer. In August this year, Changhua Bank will host five HNW client seminars across Taiwan, combining its HNW service team with external expert advisors to deliver cross-generational wealth management services.

Changhua Bank emphasizes that HNW wealth management focuses not only on growing asset scale but also on building long-term, trustworthy partnerships with clients. Going forward, the bank will continue to uphold its business philosophy of 'passion, efficiency, and innovation,' deepen the application of digital finance, and integrate cross-border financial capabilities with local service advantages to build a high-net-worth wealth management platform with international vision and professional expertise, helping clients create wealth value.
