Dongqing Launches World's First O-PAS Certified Industrial IoT Controller, Accelerating Key Industrial Digital Transformation

ASRock (3515-TW) subsidiary Dongqing (7710-TW) announced today (4th) that its developed industrial IoT controller, the iEP-5010G-010, has officially become the world's first product to pass The Open Group O-PAS (Open Process Automation Standard) certification, leading the industry toward an open and highly interoperable automation architecture.

Dongqing Technology stated that the certified controller complies with the O-PAS Version 2 standard specifications, covering requirements for system management and physical platforms. It has also obtained the IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity certification for industrial automation and control system components, establishing a robust security foundation. This effectively reduces customers' dependency on specific vendors and significantly simplifies system integration and equipment upgrade processes.

In terms of hardware architecture and specifications, the product is specifically designed for harsh industrial environments. It features an Intel Atom x6425RE processor, adopts a rugged fanless structure, supports 6 to 36V DC wide-voltage input, and operates within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. This enables stable and reliable edge computing performance for process automation and various extreme environments.

The Open Group Open Process Automation Forum, an international authoritative body, noted that end-users in the industry have always valued independent testing and verification. Dongqing's product, as the first device globally to pass this certification program, sets a significant international milestone for the global process automation industry.
