Largan Precision (3008-TW), a key Apple optical component supplier actively investing in AI-driven optical communication components, announced its latest revenue figures today (5th). The company's revenue for July 2026 reached NT$4.877 billion, representing a 31.38% month-on-month increase and a 10.66% year-on-year decline. After a period in June when clients were transitioning between old and new product models, demand rebounded in July, driving revenue growth. Based on current order visibility, Largan expects its business momentum to strengthen further in August.
Largan's cumulative revenue from January to July 2026 totaled NT$34.086 billion, up 7.49% year-on-year.
In terms of revenue composition for July 2026, 10-megapixel products accounted for the majority at approximately 60–70%, followed by 20-megapixel products at 10–20%, 8-megapixel products at 0–10%, and products below 5-megapixel at 10–20%.
Largan has been aggressively expanding its land holdings in the Taichung Industrial Park. Additionally, the company's board approved the dividend distribution for the first half of 2026, declaring a cash dividend of NT$41.5 per share. Following Largan's historical schedule, the ex-dividend trading date for the first-half dividend will be August 13.
Largan has approved its financial results for the first half of 2026, reporting revenue of NT$29.209 billion, a gross profit margin of 49.41%, net profit after tax of NT$10.793 billion, and earnings per share (EPS) of NT$82.35. With a dividend of NT$41.5 per share, the earnings payout ratio stands at 50.39%. This dividend exceeds the NT$28 per share distributed in the same period last year.
Since the end of June, Largan has continuously acquired industrial land within the Taichung Industrial Park. On the 24th, it spent NT$1.38 billion to purchase a 3,065-ping plot of land and factory from Yatai Cold Storage Company on Industrial Zone 2nd Road. Within one month, Largan has spent a total of NT$2.569 billion to acquire three plots of land in the Taichung Industrial Park. At the same time, Largan has been aggressively advancing its new Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) business this year. The market believes that Largan's consecutive land acquisitions are likely a strategic move to prepare for its new business ventures.
