TECO (1504-TW) announced today (6th) that it has signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with a semiconductor manufacturer. This collaboration adopts a long-term power supply framework, with an expected transferred installed capacity exceeding 30MW and a total green power supply surpassing 300 million kWh. This marks a significant milestone in TECO's entry into the green power trading market and signifies the formal implementation of its 'Integrated Energy Services' strategy.

TECO stated that power supply under this agreement is expected to commence before the end of this year and will gradually stabilize, potentially boosting the company's medium- to long-term revenue and becoming a predictable source of power sales cash flow. The project utilizes power wheeling through a combination of multiple power plants and demand-side configurations, enhancing supply stability and overall dispatch flexibility, thereby helping meet large power consumers' needs for diversified green power sources and reliable supply.

TECO revealed that the partner company in this CPPA is an important member of the international supply chain, with high requirements for renewable energy ratio and energy management transparency.

TECO further stated that it is currently negotiating green power procurement collaborations with multiple semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing companies, with potential demand continuously accumulating, and expects future growth in power sales scale.

Looking ahead, TECO plans to develop Virtual Power Plants (VPP) and diversified power trading models, building a one-stop energy platform encompassing equipment, engineering installation, asset management, and power sales services to accelerate corporate energy transition.
