Cloud Leopard Energy (6869-TW), through its energy storage subsidiary Tai-Power Energy (7921-TW), held a board meeting to approve the Q2 2026 financial report, surplus distribution plan, and treasury stock repurchase proposal. Benefiting from significant growth in overseas energy storage-related revenues, Tai-Power Energy achieved consolidated revenue of NT$1.109 billion and post-tax net profit of NT$145 million in the first half of 2026, representing a 102.9% year-on-year increase. Earnings per share (EPS) reached NT$3.6, showcasing strong profitability.
Additionally, the board resolved to conduct a treasury stock buyback from August 6 to October 5, 2026, purchasing 600,000 ordinary shares at a price range of NT$72 to NT$120 per share. The company will continue the buyback even if the stock price falls below the lower limit of the price range. The repurchased shares will be transferred to employees to enhance talent motivation and team cohesion, demonstrating the company’s confidence in its long-term operations and corporate value.
As the benefits of overseas energy storage deployments become increasingly evident, Tai-Power Energy’s gross margin rose sharply from 11% in the same period last year to 34% in the first half of 2026, setting a historical high. Operating profit reached NT$212 million, a 93.7% year-on-year increase, indicating that overseas business growth has begun translating into tangible profit gains.
According to General Manager Feng Hao-Xiang, the primary driver of operational momentum in the first half of this year came from overseas markets, particularly Japan, which generated NT$789 million in revenue, accounting for over 70% of total revenue. In recent years, Tai-Power Energy has actively expanded its presence in Japan’s energy storage market, with more than 13 projects already connected to the grid. By 2026, the installed capacity is expected to reach 58MW / 231MWh. While continuing to advance high-voltage projects, the company is also expanding into low-voltage and ultra-high-voltage energy storage markets, gradually increasing local installation scale and diversifying revenue streams.
Beyond Japan, Tai-Power Energy has recently initiated its expansion into the Australian market, currently securing a development pipeline of 128MW / 292MWh, with projects scheduled for completion this year and next. The company continues to explore other high-potential overseas markets such as Europe and North America, leveraging Taiwan’s experience to build international track records and positioning overseas operations as a key growth engine for future revenue and profits.
Regarding shareholder returns, the board approved the 2025 surplus distribution plan, proposing a cash dividend of NT$2.53 per share to share operational achievements with shareholders.
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Tai-Power Energy will continue advancing energy storage projects in Japan and Australia while actively entering emerging markets such as AI data centers (AIDC). Continuing its 'track record first, scale up gradually' strategy, the company aims to progressively expand application scale by leveraging its proprietary EMS, system integration, and engineering construction capabilities to meet AIDC demands for stable power supply and energy management.
