Delta Electronics (2308-TW) hosted its 55th-anniversary event series 'Sustainable AI Summit' today (7th), publicly unveiling a 1,000-ping AI liquid cooling verification center. The facility conducts thermal performance testing for both liquid-to-liquid (LTL) and liquid-to-air (LTA) cooling methods and has already achieved a 7MW verification capacity, establishing Delta’s leadership in advanced liquid cooling technology.
Mr. Chang Li-Yeh, General Manager of Delta Taiwan Business, stated, 'Enterprise-grade data centers require comprehensive infrastructure including power, thermal management, and control systems. Delta provides highly integrated solutions for customers and has recently assisted semiconductor manufacturers in building AI infrastructure, offering end-to-end services from initial planning, design, and deployment to ongoing operations and maintenance. We also deliver energy, industrial automation, and building automation solutions tailored to different industries’ needs for energy transition and intelligent upgrades.'
In addition to the AI liquid cooling verification center, Delta showcased its AI containerized data center solution, supporting up to 60kW of computing power. Its integrated design enables rapid deployment, achieving a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) as low as 1.19, serving as a forward-looking base for AI infrastructure. On the energy infrastructure side, Delta’s energy storage systems are monitored 24/7 in a command center to ensure uninterrupted site operations.
The summit brought together industry leaders to exchange insights under the theme 'Beyond Compute: The New Race for Power, Resilience, and Sustainability in AI Data Centers.' Representatives from SEMI, Wistron, Cathay United Bank, Dayuan Cogeneration, and Delta discussed challenges such as power management, data center deployment, sustainable governance, and cross-domain collaboration following AI adoption across semiconductor, electronics, energy, and financial sectors. The goal is to foster ecosystem collaboration and co-create a sustainable AI future through cross-industry partnerships.
